Four Pillars, a leading blockchain research firm in Asia, has been officially selected as the Exclusive Research Partner for MoneyX 2026, set to take place in Tokyo, Japan on February 27.

MoneyX 2026 is Japan's first and largest conference dedicated to stablecoins, co-hosted by some of the country's most prominent players in the space: SBI Group, JPYC, Progmat, CoinPost, and TV Tokyo. The event is expected to draw approximately 2,000 attendees, including representatives from major Japanese financial institutions, fintech companies, blockchain projects, and regulatory authorities. Discussions will center on the institutional adoption and real-world application of stablecoins.

As the conference's exclusive research partner, Four Pillars will produce an exclusive research report on the Japanese stablecoin market for distribution to participating companies and institutions. The report will provide comprehensive coverage of the current landscape and growth trajectory of Japan's stablecoin market, an analysis of key issuers and infrastructure providers, a review of the regulatory framework under Japan's revised Payment Services Act, and a comparative analysis with global markets alongside forward-looking growth projections.

Japan holds a unique position in the global stablecoin landscape. Through the implementation of its revised Payment Services Act in 2023, the country became the first in the world to establish a clear legal definition and issuance framework for stablecoins — a regulatory approach that has since been recognized as a leading model internationally. Four Pillars' research will provide an in-depth examination of these distinctive regulatory characteristics and institutional strengths.

"Being named the exclusive research partner for MoneyX 2026 is a recognition of Four Pillars' research capabilities and expertise in the Asian digital asset market," said a Four Pillars representative. "Japan is a key market where the stablecoin sector is rapidly expanding on the back of regulatory clarity. Through this partnership, we look forward to building close collaborative relationships with major stakeholders across Japan's stablecoin ecosystem."

The representative added: "Four Pillars plans to continue expanding its in-depth research coverage of digital asset markets across the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea and Japan, and remains committed to building research capabilities that contribute to the sound development of the global blockchain ecosystem."
