Hyobong Kim is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC (BKL), specializing in digital finance and virtual assets. With over a decade of experience at the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), she contributed to the development of fund and trust systems, dispute mediation for private equity funds, and digital finance regulations. She played a key role in establishing virtual asset regulations, including the Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users. Ms. Kim holds an LL.B. from Yonsei University, an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, and an MBA from Sungkyunkwan University. She also completed the 41st Judicial Research and Training Institute program.
