YongBeom Kim is a financial expert with extensive experience in public service. He is now CEO at HashedOpenResearch, and served as First Vice Minister at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (2019-2021), Vice Chairman at the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) within FSC (2017-2019), and Senior Financial Economist at World Bank (2000-2005). His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University, a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from Seoul National University.
